ABOUT THE CLIENT

Credit Agricole Bank Polska S.A. is a universal bank that has been operating on the Polish market for over 20 years, has over 400 branches, and is one of the most frequently recommended banks in Poland.

Industry: retail and universal banking

CHALLENGES AND NEEDS

The program’s goal was to increase the effectiveness of managing a sales region comprising 12 bank branches and provide support for the fastest possible improvement in sales results.

At the program’s start, the region was ranked 32nd out of 36 sales regions in the bank’s network. Additionally, the region struggled with issues such as high employee turnover, low engagement from branch directors, and lack of teamwork.

SCOPE OF SUPPORT

As part of the agreed support, Scaleup conducted a comprehensive 2.5-month support
and development program. The program included elements such as:

  • A cycle of individual executive coaching and business coaching sessions with the Regional Director,
  • Work observation sessions of the Regional Director with the team,
  • In-depth feedback regarding team and interpersonal dynamics within the team,
  • Regular strategic meetings with the Macro-Regional Director,
  • Support in implementing practical, effective sales management models and techniques in areas: operational reviews, subordinate behavior control, feedback, motivation,
    inspiration, relational leadership.

RESULTS

As a result of the conducted program and subsequent changes made by the Regional Director, the region began consistently improving sales results, ultimately advancing to 1st place among the bank’s 36 sales regions within a year of the program’s completion.

Additionally, the region recorded:

  • 30% increase in personal loan sales,
  • 8% increase in up-selling rate.

Importantly, these results were achieved by an engaged and motivated team that regularly exchanged sales practices and provided the Regional Director with very positive feedback regarding the implemented changes.
