Scaleup Event Terms and Conditions

I. General Provisions

1. Scaleup events such as paid workshops, change programs, training sessions, and meetings, hereinafter referred to as Events, are organized cyclically throughout the year.

2. The organizer of the Events is Scaleup Sp. z o.o., located at 02-986 Warsaw, ul. Wał Zawadowski 93/2, NIP 521-323-06-08, REGON: 015312216, KRS: 0000147437, hereinafter referred to as the Organizer.

3. Events are organized under the Scaleup brand

4. Events are conducted virtually, on video conferencing platforms, or at physical locations.

II. Participation Rules


1. The Event program can be found on the website https://scaleup.center. The Organizer reserves the right to change the program. The Organizer will inform about changes on the website and via email (for registered Participants).

2. Individuals who have registered on the individual registration page of a given Event, provided by the Organizer in the Event program, may participate in the Event.

3. Registering for participation in the Event is equivalent to accepting these terms and conditions.

4. The participation fee for the Event includes attendance at the Event.

5. Participants cover their own costs of travel to and from the Event venue, as well as any accommodation expenses.

6. Information about fees and registration conditions is published on the individual registration page of each Event.

7. The condition for participation is registration via electronic means and payment of the full participation fee through online payment at the time of registration for the Event.

8. The Organizer is authorized to issue an invoice without the recipient’s signature.


III. Event Cancellations, Participation Withdrawals, and Refunds

1. In case of Event cancellation due to reasons attributable to the Organizer, the Participant is entitled to a 100% refund of the participation costs.

2. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the Event due to reasons beyond their control or if an insufficient number of Participants register. In such a situation, Participants who have already made a payment may receive a refund or have the option to transfer the payment to another date of the same Event.

3. A Participant may withdraw from the Event by sending the Organizer an email to info@scaleup.center from the same email address used for Event registration. Additionally, the withdrawal must include the Participant’s first and last name, and the name and date of the Event from which the Participant

4. In case of withdrawal from participation in the Event 14 days before its start date, the Participant is entitled to a 100% refund of the participation costs.

5. In case of withdrawal from participation in the Event less than 14 days before its start date, the Participant is not entitled to a refund of the participation costs. Due to the fact that the Events are of a cultural and educational nature, based on Article 38 paragraph 12 of the Consumer Rights Protection Act, the Participant’s right to withdraw from the contract concluded electronically is excluded. We kindly ask for thoughtful registration for our Events.

6. The absence of a Participant or a person designated by the Participant to attend the Event is considered a withdrawal, to which the provisions of paragraph 5.


IV. Complaints


1. The Participant may submit complaints regarding the completed Events or the purchase process itself.

2. The complaint should be sent to the Organizer’s email address, i.e., info@scaleup.center

3. The complaint should contain data enabling identification of the Participant, the subject of the complaint, and demands related to the complaint. In case of receiving an incomplete complaint, the Organizer will call upon the Participant to supplement it under the risk of leaving the complaint unexamined.

4. The Organizer will respond to a complete complaint within 14 days from the date of receiving the complaint.


V. Safety

1. The Organizer is not responsible for items left behind, lost, or stolen during the Event.

2. Participants are required to comply with safety rules, health and safety regulations, and fire safety regulations in force at the venue where the Event is organized.


VI. Other Issues

1. All materials made available and presented to Participants during the Event are protected by copyright, constitute intellectual property of their creators, and are legally protected. They are made available for private use only and may not be distributed, shared, or reproduced without the written consent of their owners.

2. The Event will be filmed and photographed by the Organizer for their own purposes. With the Participant’s consent given in writing or electronically, the Organizer may use the Participant’s image for activities related to the promotion of events on the Internet.

3. During the Event, it is not possible to record or otherwise register the Event without the written consent of the presenter.

4. By registering for participation in the Event, the Participant simultaneously agrees to the processing of personal data by the Organizer for the purpose of implementing the Event and for informing about subsequent Events and publications of the Organizer in accordance with generally applicable legal provisions, with particular emphasis on the Personal Data Protection Act of August 29, 1997 (Journal of Laws No. 133. Item 833 with subsequent amendments).

5. Events are of an educational nature only and do not replace psychotherapy or medical treatment.

6. To the extent permitted by mandatory provisions of Polish law, the Organizer’s liability for improper performance or non-performance of the service or tort related to the provision of the service towards the Participant is limited to the amount of one hundred zlotys. In no event will the Organizer be liable for the Participant’s damage in the form of lost profits.

7. In matters not established in the above regulations, the provisions of the Civil Code apply.
